SilverSneakers Classes


SilverSneakers® I – Muscular Strength & Range of Movement (MSROM)

Muscular Strength & Range of Movement is the core class for older adults. It is designed to increase strength, range of movement, agility, balance, and coordination and to improve participants’ functional capacities, physical fitness level, and sense of well-being.

 

 

SilverSneakers® - Cardio Circuit Class

 

An advanced class for older adults who have expressed a desire for more cardiovascular and muscular strength conditioning and have demonstrated above baseline proficiencies in the ABC’s of Silver Sneakers: agility, balance and coordination.


Classes for All Levels

Easy Ride

 

A beginner approach to Indoor Cycling. No complicated moves to learn. You’ll achieve strength, endurance and overall fitness riding on flat roads and slight inclines. First time riders should arrive 5 min. early for instruction on proper bike set up. All levels welcome.

 

 

Core & More

 

A mat class using your own body weight and Pilates. You will enjoy a relaxing workout that will improve your total core conditioning and toning. All levels welcome.

Hatha Yoga

 

A blend of physical and mental conditioning through stretching and relaxation. Increase your flexibility while building strength and stamina through various poses and postures. All levels welcome.

 

 

Yoga

Develop a body, spirit and mind connection with yoga.  Increase strength and flexibility by focusing on breathing relieve stress.  Get a relaxing workout to help you sleep better. All levels welcome.

 

Zumba Gold

 

 

A lower intensity, low-impact version of the International Fitness Dance craze called Zumba. If you’ve never taken Zumba before this is a great starting point. All levels welcome.

 

 

Butts & Gutts

A toning class focusing on the abdominals, buttocks and hips. A wide variety of exercises using weights, steps, body bars and balls targets the muscles in these areas to tone and strengthen. All levels welcome.

 

 

Bodysculpting

 

Work major muscle groups in the arms, back, chest, legs, etc. to increase strength, tone-up, increase metabolism and muscle endurance. All levels welcome.

 

High Impact Classes

Cardio Sculpt

 

A mix of hi-low cardio to get your heart rate in the “fat-burning” zone, fused with body toning moves to “sculpt” your body.

 

 

Cycling

Classes gradually increase in intensity and decrease until the end of the ride. The instructors will guide you through intervals, sprints & hill climbs using motivating music to create your ride. A great cardio workout!

 

 

Zumba

 

A fusion of Latin/International rhythms and fitness moves to create a one-of-a-kind workout. Achieve long term benefits in one exciting hour of calorie-burning and body-energizing moves. Target the most important muscle in the body, the heart.

 

 

Step & Sculpt

A mixture of choreographed moves on the step to ensure a great cardio workout. This class is the ultimate body-shaping, fat-burning and endurance building workout to hit the gym.
